Abuse Engineer (M/V)

Job description:

The Abuse Engineer is responsible for the proper resolution of complaints about possible misuse of our services. In addition to the main tasks, you also proactively work to continually improve the internal process to handle such complaints and you try to automate this.

What does the job really entail

  • Handling incoming phone calls and written (mainly through email) complaints about possible misuse of NFOrce’s services and products.
  • Processing requests for the delivery of information to the right person/authority (i.e. High Tech Crime Unit (Police), BREIN, KLPD, MPKP, NBIP. Etc.), you are also a liaison for these organizations.
  • Identify and stop unwanted, illegal use of NFOrce’s resources by taking appropriate measures.
  • Pro-active monitoring of the NFOrce network for possible complaints.
  • Thinking along and drafting procedures to keep improving the handling of complaints (automation).


Who are you?

  • Your professional and intellectual ability is at least at the level of a Bachelor’s Degree (HBO).
  • You are inquisitive, communicative, independent and honest.
  • You have an affinity with IT security.
  • You have an excellent command of the Dutch and English language word and writing.
  • Experience with legal administrative work is a big advantage.
  • Knowledge of IP networks and domains is a must.

Who are you?

  • You have at least one year of sales experience.
  • You have an MBO 4 (Associate Degree) or HBO diploma (Bachelor’s Degree) (or are working on this).
  • You live in Roosendaal or the surrounding area.
  • You believe in the products you will sell.
  • You are in possession of a driver’s license (category B).
  • Your English and Dutch are sufficient.
  • You are practical, customer-oriented, professional, organized, independent, enthusiastic, accurate and a team player.
  • You have good computer skills, as you will be selling servers, hardware and internet.

As Support Engineer, you and your colleagues will be responsible for analyzing and solving incidents and providing support to end users. You will receive user requests and questions from our customers on a daily basis, these will vary from software issues to failing hard disks or even a network failure. As our Support Engineer you will handle these issues efficiently, you’ll answer any question and solve every issue. You have the technological knowledge and are able to understand the customers’ requests in order to translate them to viable solutions.

What does the job really entail?

  • Assemble, configure and install servers in data centers.
  • Offer assistance to customers with problems/malfunctions.
  • Advise customers on custom servers to fit their requirements
  • Proactively maintain our knowledge base.
  • Handle and resolve complaints.
  • Install various OS software (Linux – all variations, Windows, BSD).
  • Install various control panels (Cpanel, Plesk, Direct admin).
  • Keep your hardware knowledge up-to-date.
  • Answer questions about orders.
  • Proactively inform customers.


Who are you?

  • Your professional and intellectual ability is at least at the level of an Associates Degree (MBO)
  • You are in possession of a driver’s license (category B).
  • You are customer and solution oriented, strong in communication.
  • You possess extensive knowledge on and experience with various Operating Systems.
